I have the chance to purchase a 1979 Malibu Wagon.Are there any issues with these such as frame rot or anything else I should be aware of.Thanks in advance.

Frame- rear from about where the control arms attach and back. Engine in general. Listen for lifter noise (when warm) and rough idle (camshaft).
