I know that a lot of parts are painted the engine color but I am unsure what is not. Intake and exhaust? Are they engine color or were they just bare cast from the factory? How about the oil pan vent tube? Water pump/thermostat housing? Pulleys and fan? How about the little oil pump cover?

When the engine was painted after assembly at the engine plant the manifolds were already bolted to the head. So all the attaching hardware were painted engine color along with the manifolds, the oil pump cover (oil distributor valve is behind the cover), water pump and pulley, thermostat housing, balancer, flywheel housing and cover.
The fan and vent tube were a fairly glossy black.
The paint burnt off of the exhaust manifold by the time the car was delivered to the dealer.
