OP joeyk3950 Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 47 Central New York	Greetings! Looking for info. on 57 Chevy overdrive transmission solenoid. Was sold a 1116926 NOS solenoid. Bought brackets that appear correct but solenoid does not match brackets. Do I have a good part number? Rebuild manual does not have any photos of the solenoid on the side of the Carter 4 bbl. carb., nor does it mention any adjustments. Was there a service bulletin or any photos or instructions pictured? Do I have the right solenoid? This is for a 220hp.W/ 3spd overdrive. Joseph Patrick James Kearney

lucky1 Backyard Mechanic Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 260 ontario	This part 1116926 is referred to as a relay. There is a part # 1998130 called a kickdown switch 4 terminal (carb). Maybe this is what you wanted and you have a relay? Neil have a nice day
