I have found a serial number (#M42-43)on a gold plate on the underside of the passenger seat, is their any meaning/importance associated with this number?

Thanks for the help.

I suspect that it is a part or inventory number from either the spring or trim manufacturer.

This number was also listed on a receipt from the prior owner for something that I cannot make out. It may have been a supplier inventory number for replacement seats.

Thanks guys for your replies.
