I just got me a '59 Chevy, w/a short step side box. And I have both sets of fender embelms (31 and 32). I've been told the 31 mean short box and 32 means long box. Is this correct? or what's the numbers mean?

Thanks for any help, Steve

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Welcome aboard. Pull up a chair and let's talk Chevies.

Are you in the Portland area? We have a very active club and I would like to tell you about it.

If you are not a member of the VCCA, I would strongly urge you to join.

Thanks for the welcome Ray, I'm half way between Portland/Salem. Can't wait to join, but I think I'll wait for my truck to be road worthy.

Thanks, Steve

Thanks again Ray, I see on the link all the info. I'll have to find good directions, I don't make it into town much.

I also found the info I was looking for, 31 = 3100 short bed, 32 = 3200 long bed, Now I know what emblems to use.

Thanks, Steve

Ray,

Don't make the mistake I did and not take advatage of the vast knowledge base of this great club while you are working on your truck. One of the awesome benefits this club has to offer is technical advise. I urge you to join both National and your local region right away. If you take time to get to know the good folks of the VCCA, you won't regret it I promise.

From 2 1/2 yrs ago doesn't look like Ray or Jim convinced Steve to join Columbia River Region. Maybe he joined Willamette Valley Chapter....in the Salem area?????

Well anyway, if you haven't been around for 2 1/2 yrs, I don't suppose you'll see this; but Happy Birthday to Steve on Oct 25, 2012!!!!!

Drop around once in a while. There's lots of P/U guys here who'd like to hear more about yours.....

Bill.
