parking bana2 The April issue of Hemmings Classic Car magazine did a feature on Chevy sixes. One article features Sal Orlando's '31 Coupe. There were many other photos of VCCA member's vehicles. Nice photos but also nice to see the VCCA get some extra publicity! (The April issue in February? WOW!!) Beamer

On page 15 please tell me what the green tank on the fire wall of the 1930 is. I have never seen one of these. It also looks like there is a 12 V battery next to the generator also.

parkingI don't know the answer to your question but if you would pose it in the pre-war forum under 29 - 32, perhaps someone would respond. A lot of folks only read what applies to them and they do not wander around this site. Taking a guess though, I would think the tank is some kind of air filter. You can see a clasp holding on the bottom cup and perhaps that is where the filter is cleaned. Also, I can't think of many things that would use what appears to be a vacuum cleaner hose attached to it. Beamer

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm supposed to be on page 49 with my '57.
