Hello! First post here and am excited to get started on my "project" truck! Just purchased a 1939 "barn-find" Chevy Truck in Warren, OR and just got her home yesterday. After unloading the parts to see what was there (and what wasn't) I figured I'd need a support group and lots of resources to begin my adventure.

Looking forward to this group and learning a ton more about my truck and to getting started!

General questions I have at this point are what to do with the small motor, tranny and drive-train, brakes, wiring, upholstery, body work - you name it! :)

Angus,

Welcome to VCCA Chat! I hope you'll consider joining VCCA so you can have full access to the Chat site and resources of the Club.

Your photos did not appear, so you might want to try that again and preview your post before submitting it to be sure the images are visible. I use Photobucket too, and if you want the image to come up automatically in the post, just copy and paste the Photobucket "Image" link into the post--don't use the "Enter an Image" button on the posting toolbar.

Good luck!
Wally

Thanks Wally, I did join the VCCA, waiting for my membership #, etc. to come back to me.

Thanks for the tip on the photo, here's another shot at posting a pic of my project: (looks like it works!)
