I think this is quite possibly a Chevrolet ring and pinion. Is it 490? Or is it later? No I have no connection with the seller. I found this on another forum and felt I needed to let the Chevy guys know too. Dex

Thanks for telling us. As far as I know these items also are well fitted for Chevrolet 490s. I bought similar parts (straight) from Snyder (T-F**D-specialist, same ratio.

This ring gear and pinion looks just like the set I had made for my 1919 FB50. No one told me that the f--d was the same.

Unfortunatley, the FA and FB models have a seperate parts book to the 490 models, otherwise we would have be able to cross referenced the two.

Just because the ring gear set looks the same, doesn't mean that it will fit.
Someone has to take the step of measuring a sample to those available and check 100% for fit, otherwise you do your money.
