Hi, I’m working on my 34 town sedan putting the doors back together. Question, do I have the fabric tubes in the right place on the tension rod? See enclosed picture. Thanks, Bruce

It's been a long time since I had the door panels off my '35 so I'm not much help. I never really understood the purpose of the fabric tubes. Maybe if we knew what they were supposed to do, we would know where to put them.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the e-mail. My thinking on these tubes is one, to help with noise and the other is to help eliminate friction when the rod is turned.
