how do you know if you have a factory hubcap or reproduction hubcap was cleaning some caps and of course want to keep the best ones for myself and want to find out if i have any factory stock ones on the inside of the caps i have a few that are stamped BLC MADE IN USA and a few with the stamping BLC MADE IN USA with an E does that make a difference in what i have also have some 49-50-51-52- pontiac dog dish caps with the same stamping but w/o the E THANKS ANDY

BLC made the hub caps for Chevrolet. Don't worry about the E.
If the hub caps were reproductions from years ago they would not have the Bow Tie on them, just a rectangle.

GENE first thanks for the help on finding correct jack so what we are saying is BLC made the hubcaps so if they are stamped with their intials it is a factory stock hubcap (no one can copy their letters) that would go for my pontiac caps too will send you pics of jack and pontiac hubcaps thanks

what about the repops that are for sale by chevs of 40s and filling staion they have the blue and red background with a bowtie i have never seen the back of one of theirs to see what they look like just curious thanks andy
