Steve, I give up, Wa-wu-zit? What was it? Is it the thing you now have pictured next to your posts? Or is that you? Looks like a winged ape, right out of the Wizard of Oz.

Or, did MrMack send you an autographed picture.

Best, Charlie

Steve,

You better get your back hair trimed before you go out on your next date. The crew cut looks good on you.

By the way, do you have any relatives in Denver? I think I saw some at the Zoo.

Come on guys, you all shouldn’t make fun of Willie like that, he’s still a great singer songwriter in spite of his age.

No Andy but you were close. It is the Korean war Memorial in D.C. taken on saturday morning by one of the internet news outlets. Kind of looks like the Frozen Cho. don't you think?

That was not my war either (USMC - VietNam 1/1/68 - 8/23/69) but I sure know the story.

http://www.chosinreservoir.com/

I've been to the Korean War memorial as well as the VietNam and WWII memorials on the National Mall. It's something that everyone should do if you can.

USA, 1953-76, Korea-Vietnam, and at the time Hawaii, a territory, was an overseas tour.
