I"ve just received a gasket kit for my 36 chevy truck, three speed transmision, from VCCA's vendor. My leaky transmision repairs checking the fluid level monthly. Are there any secrets on installing gaskets? Also is there a fix for a leaky spedo cable concection?

I would suggest you re-post this question on the 1933-36 forum. You'll be more likely to receive responses. My speedo cable leaks too, so I'm interested in your replies.

Have you checked the oil level in the differential? Very common for the transmission oil to drain past the seal in the torque tube and over-fill the differential.
