dont know if in right section or not but heres the problem had a engine installed not too long ago on the power steering side the previous engine owner had broken 2 bolts he tried to easy out ruined everything retapped one hole but it keeps breaking the bolt and then the bracket breaks and the belt flies off is there any way can bypass the power steering pump i can live without it for awhile laid off and realy cant afford to buy anything right now plus the truck is in great condition has any one experienced the same problem and whats the fix some one said take a string and measure out a diiferent belt then go buy a bunch of belts till you get the right one I NEED HELP ON THIS ONE

It sounds like there may be a bracket missing, is there one on the back side of the pump to the exhaust manifold bolt? Where and which bracket is breaking?

after going thru all my options i just routed the belt the old way working just the alt water pump now have no power steering its too cold out to mess with it right now will figure something out later thanks for any input andy
