What year(s) ring & pinion gears will interchange with a 1929 passenger car?

1928 ring and pinion gears are useable,though the '28 ring gear is slightly smaller,but should present no problems with adjustment.Pinion bearings are identical,as well as ring gear carrier bearings.

1925-29 ring+pinions will interchage.
