i've removed all obvious fasteners on the windshield regulator board, mirror and the side garnish mouldings in an attempt to get at and repair the windshield regulator. the board won't come off and i don't want to harm anything as this is new territory for me. can't find anything in archives. thanks guys, mike

Mike,
If i remember correctly there are 2 bolts at either end and 2 wood screws in a center support on top edge.

I think the regulator board is just hanging up because of some wear in the pins that slide in the slot of the widshield frame. Gently, work it free.

The board must come out first, then the windshield must be raised to clear the dash and removed from the bottom. The top of the windshield moves up into a body brace so it must be removed this way.

Hope this is clear, good luck, Mike.

gary: the pins were seized on the windshield frame. little lubricant, gentle prying and the board popped off without my damaging the windshield glass. thanks much. mike
