OP chevy1928driver Grease Monkey Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 11 San Diego, CA	These questions are regarding a 1928 National AB Coupe. Can anyone tell me the resistance of the coil between the "dim" and "hd" contacts on the back of the headlight switch? (I need to replace mine - broken). Also, does anyone know the amps of the fuse on the back of the headlight switch? Thank you.

Jay28 Backyard Mechanic Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 293 Canada, Alberta	Hi chevy1928driver The fuse for your switch should be a 15 amp. But I am unsure of the resistance between the DIM and HD contacts. Hope this help's Keeping vintage Chevy alive.

On my 27 chevy I cut the resistance wire in half.The headlights are very poor in the dim mode.By shortening the resistance wire improved them a bit. Reconnect your wire where it is broken and see if you are happy with the results or not.

Except for judging, you will never use the dim position. If that is the only item you need you're in great shape.
