These questions are regarding a 1928 National AB Coupe.

Can anyone tell me the resistance of the coil between the "dim" and "hd" contacts on the back of the headlight switch? (I need to replace mine - broken).

Also, does anyone know the amps of the fuse on the back of the headlight switch?

Thank you.

Hi chevy1928driver
The fuse for your switch should be a 15 amp.
But I am unsure of the resistance between the DIM and HD contacts.
Hope this help's

Hi,
Where is it broken?
On my 27 chevy I cut the resistance wire in half. The headlights are very poor in the dim mode.By shortening the resistance wire improved them a bit.

Reconnect your wire where it is broken and see if you are happy with the results or not.

If you have any portion of the resistance unit, use that part. Except for judging, you will never use the dim position. If that is the only item you need you're in great shape.
