I am about to put indicators on my 1929 Chevrolet AC. I have a blinker unit with three spade-type contacts, but I cannot find the piece of paper where I wrote down what the contacts connect to. The left one has the letter "X", the centre the number "2" and the right one the letter "L". One must be +6V, one to the indicator switch, and the third probably to an indicator bulb if needed. I have a photo of the unit here: http://nvk-annonser.no/blinker.html
Grateful for any help,
Dave

Looking closely at the centre contact, it also has the letter "P" in addition to the number "2".

Anagriff, my 1953 wireing diagram shows that

X goes to 6v power (ignition Switch)

L goes to the Direction light switch

P goes to the Direction Indicator lamp

Dave,

Did you go with an additional tail light on the rear, or did you add a pair of new lights? How about in the front? I'd like directionals eventually so I'm curious.

Thanks,
Jim
