Catching up on some old car mag reading while on vacation and came upon some auction results. The article was describing a 54 Bel Air hardtop, what it sold for and so on. The car in the photo looks like a BA. But the s/n was listed as 54 B0707etc. Looks like some more auction skullduggery to me. What say you???

The B after the "54" would indicate the car was assembled in Baltimore. The car's series letter would come before the "54" and would be A for 150, B for 210 and C for BelAir. I say there is a letter missing.
