Yeah, I love to watch those old films, I really like to watch the Chevrolet master hands where they are building '36 chevys from the foundries casting the engines to the final assembly.

Uncle Ed. I just got through watching some of those old Jam Handy films. I liked it when the guy says things about the girls swimsuits as if they were showing too much. The highlight for me was the snippet about you mom and papa getting the keys to that nice new black 36 MD four door sedan. Your pa was almost speechless. Best, Charlie

I was watching some of those just a few weeks ago. About a month ago, while searching eBay, I found some guy selling videos from Chevy from 1937 on dvd. It was only a couple bucks so I bought it. It has two videos on it: one is a video for salesmen explaining some of the features of the brand new '37 models, and the other is a safety video about road rage. Best $2 I ever spent!

The ones I liked best was the one that showed the 7foot tall guy who worked in the Chevy plant, who's job was to inspect the newly welded "turret top's. The other one was the fire dept who had the cat who would slide down the pole with the fireman....good stuff here.

ED1938, et al, we should move this to the general discussion forum afore we get stoolpigeoned (new word) and closed down quicker than a speakeasy with no connections.
I'll make the switch now. No more comments here.
