Does any body have pics of 48 cars with vintage roof top racks or was it something that was not used ???

Chevrolet did not have a roof carrier til the late '50's.
About the only car tha thad a carrier before that was the post-war DeSoto suburbans, and that was a carryover from their N.Y. taxi days.
