I have a 1929 Chevy International Series AC Covertible Landau. There were only about 300 cars made and it was available only in Crockett brown with a grey belt and orange striping. I am looking for a paint formula to make the Crockett brown. Thanks.

Hi There and welcome to Chevy Chatter II. Glad to have you with us.

Regarding the 1929 Convertible Landau, the "300" production figure is a misnomer. That "300" figure has been floating around for years and years and no one seems to know where it originally came from. According to the existing body numbers that have been documented apparently there were at least 8,000 or more made, which supports the vast number of '29 Convertible Landaus that still exist.

Good luck with your project.
