My 1963 C-10 1/2T horn button was "glued" to the steering wheel when I got the truck. I've pried it off and cleaned up the steering wheel, but there's nothing in the steering wheel cavity. I've looked online at The Filling Station, etc., but I didn't see (or maybe I saw it and didn't recognize) what part or parts I need. Can someone tell me or, better yet, show me, what holds the horn button to the steering wheel?
Thanks, -Bob

Assuming that you have a standard versus deluxe wheel, the button simply has a large black rubber grommet attached to it. The grommet fits snugly into a brass(?) cup which is held on by 3 screws to the steering wheel hub.
Here's an ebay listing with has a 2nd pic showing the reverse. It's a bit blurry but still shows the grommet.

Thanks for the info, K-10 and yes, it is the standard wheel. I found the horn button on Ebay and it clarified what I need. Since I have the horn button, do you know where I could find the rubber grommet & cup?
Thanks again for answering my inquiry. -Bob

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?page=75LMC sells repro horn buttons with the seal attached. Or you could find an NOS button from eBay or other source and it will have the seal attached as well. I may have a decent horn button with seal hanging around. I don't see the cup listed anywhere but I have one of those as well. PM me for details. Or you can get the part number of the cup and look at Obsolete Chevy or other NOS parts supplier and see if they have one kicking around. I still don't have a '60 and up Chevy truck master parts book to this date, even after all this time.

Thanks for the link to LMC. I had never heard of them previously.
I will follow up with a PM on the horn button parts. Many thanks for your help. -Bob

I may have a couple NOS ones. Are they chrome with a red bowtie? If so, I can look them up. Send me a PM, if you are interested.
