I recently purchased a visor that I was told was correct for my 1952 Styleline Deluxe; it is one-piece, has chrome and/or stainless steel around the leading/trailing edge. Based upon what I now read within this forum, the visor I bought may have been orginally made for a Pontiac instead of a Chevrolet. One individual who installed visors on Chevrolets said that he used GM/Pontiac and Fulton products on a regular basis. Am I correct in saying that the actual accessory unit for my 1952 Chevrolet has two pieces, with chrome and/or stainless steel around the leading edge and a strip down the middle? Any additional information would be appreciated!

Your description sounds exactly like the correct 1951 accessory sun visor that I have. Also, the two-piece visor that I have for my '51 matches exactly the one shown in the 1951 accessory catalog.

The Pontiac visor is the one piece job. Today you will see more of them on Chevrolets than ever because they look better than the Chevrolet 2 piece visor.
The 1950-52 (except hardtop) Chevrolet visor has three attaching screws on wach side. They go through the gutter and thread into a heavy plate the sits inside of the rain gutter.
The 1949 Chev. visor was the same except it did not have the chrome moulding on the front edge.
