OP iukini Grease Monkey Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 14 CA, USA	hi, been chatting away on this great resource of a website with others on a 1927 model chevy. i made a contingent offer about an hour ago on it, but in the event it falls through...just found this one today, per Seller, its all original and the info is as follows (pics too this time, how convenient): xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx info from seller: Block# 835501 C 18 9 Body tag on cowl says Job# 8850 Body# 4548 do these numbers mean anything, are they correct, do they reveal something that should look like the pics Seller supplied below? pics from seller http://iukini.com/1929_chevy/Front.jpg http://iukini.com/1929_chevy/Rear.jpg xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx any input would be appreciated, especially known benefits/issues of 1929 vs. 1927 models (other than Brakes which i believe the 29 has 4 wheel brakes vs. rear tires only like the 27 year) thanks for your time/efforts, hoping to soon purchase one of these wonderful pieces of history!

Will run 50-55 if you are not too timid but most don't drive them over ~ 45 mph. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

Some would say it is a bad choice as "it has too many moving parts", buy a 4-cylinder.
