I got my 30 out last night and tried to start it for the first time in almost 20 years. Fuel had been left in it . I checked and it had about 1" in the tank. I dropped the line at the pump. I could blow bubbles in the tank and siphon fuel to that spot. I added 3 gal. cleaned the bowls at the pump and the carburetor. .. I could not get fuel to the line at the carburetor.. Where is the strainer located?
I had changed the oil (30 wt. Non detergent)
sprayed marvel mystery oil in the cylinders And turned the engine over before hand. I even sprayed a little starting fluid in the carburetor. but not start. thank pAUl

You should have totally removed the old gasoline from the tank, removed the gas tank from the car and had it commercially cleaned out before attempting to start the car, since stale gasoline will turn to varnish in a short period of time. Also, you need a new diaphragm in your fuel pump since it has dried out in the past 20 years of the car sitting.

The gasoline strainer is located in the fuel pump cover on top of the glass bowl. You should also remove your carburetor and go through it, as well as replacing the accelerator pump leather. Check and clean the points in your distributor and also replace your condenser since condensers have a shelf life and they will go bad in a 20 year period.  laugh laugh laugh

Thanks JYD for the input . I knew to do those things. BUT AS MY DAD use to say I HAD TO SMELL SOME SMOKE.
Last night I made a gravity fed tank and turned her over a couple times an YEEEEE HAAAA! She started up ran a few minutes, Oil pressure was about 10 lb. and I think I remember that is good.. Is It?? I remembered it as being noise but it really was not. I think now that I remember the transmission is where the noise is. Want try to driver her for a while. Too many parts are off just yet..
I have a new condenser (20 years old) do you think I will need to get another one??
Now I will order the kits to rebuild the fuel pump and the carb.. Is the FILLING Station the place to order these??? Thanks

Yes, you definitely need to replace your condenser with a new one. It is a DR 70 and you can get that at your local auto parts store. On the other items, definitely order those from the Filling Station since that is a great place for obsolete Chevrolet parts.

On the oil pressure, 10 pounds COLD is a little low. I suggest that you clean and inspect your oil pump and all of your oil lines. Good luck! laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
