I will attempt to attach a photo of some old Chevrolet Dubl-duti (Metro) Delivery trucks which were part of my grandfather's bread company in Seattle. I have been trying, for several years, to locate one to re-create the truck. However, other than artist's sketches, I have never even seen a 'real' photo of one, other than what I have. I am guessing the year is 1937 to 1940 and I know that they were built by the Metropolitan Body Company. Any help, comments, references, or insight is appreciated.

Hey B. B. ---

Welcome to Chevy Chat!!!!

Sorry I can't help with your question; but I sure get a kick out of old time photos like you posted. Very "Cool" indeed!!!!

One of the "new" cars running around down here in the Portland this past summer cruise-in season was a Divco delivery truck. I presume it was a "milk truck" from the early 50's. It was bright red and just gorgeous. It even had updated running gear.

Well anyway, hope you get some help here in Chevy Chat.....

Bill.

Thanks, this is a photo of the Tacoma bakery in 1958/1959. The caption found online is incorrect.

Oh to have a couple of the trucks my grandfather probably gave away...
