The intake manifold riser sleeve 3.292 837825 shown on page 66 of my 29-40 parts book was found in 3 less than complete pieces in the intake manifold and cylinder head intake passages. I presume this is why the engine did not run well. What is the purpose of the piece. Are they available. What are the dimensions? I see the recess in the bottom of the insulator for clearance of the flange and the scraps I have look about 1 1/4 tall. Is it critical? Incidently this is a late 35 head on a 36 replacement block with early 35 manifolds.
