Found a nice pair to put on my 37 but I have some questions,is there supposed to be brackets to attach the front of the pans to the frame. The rear brackets are still attached the frame and the pans have holes on the sides where it attaches also but the front of the pans dont look like the directly attach to the frame. I have a 57 motor and a pre 49 road draft tube and it looks like it wont go through the hole in the pan so it looks like I might have to find a original 37 road draft tube so other then 37 or 38 what other years of road draft tubes are the same.

My 37 has brackets on the front of the splash pans. Two screws to the frame and one to the pan.Just a simple L shape about 2" wide at the bottom and narrows to the single hole the attaches to the pan.It is round on the top but squared of at the frame bolts side.

Thats what I thought and will most likely have to make them,it originally had splash pans when I got it but they were a beat up mess so they did not go back on. I think they might have been thrown on the scrap pile years ago but need to look in the shed as who knows could still be there.

I looked in the shed and the original splash pans are long gone and I also looked at the road draft tube and I do have the correct one but I have it angled to the rear so I could use the 235 bottom bracket hole but I will have to relocate it to a oil pan bolt with the splash pans.
