Do you have experience removing the wood from the front doors of a 29? Are there any tricks to getting the metal off? It appears you have to bend the metal back some to pull the wood out. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

What wood, do you want to fix? I replaced all of mine (a four door), doors and jams. The only metal that had to be removed was in the front frame, and some pulling and tucking for the center jams.

I am going to do all four doors. It is a 29 Landau. Metal on the front edge of the front door. I am going to have Jim Rodman at Autowood do the wood for me but I need to get it out and send it to him for templates.
Thanks for your assistance.

I am not sure if you sent me an additional messge or you were referring to the post you made yesterday. If you sent me an email I either did not find it or just do not know where to look. I am somewhat new at this.
I got the wood out of the back door and it is in great shape. The front door is a bit more complicated.

Thanks for your assistance.
