My '35 Standard has a plate on the passenger side sill (wood on my car) about where a front seat passengers right foot would rest.

Mike,
Thank you for the information. I did find it and was able to
register the car today.

Mike,

I noticed you live in Columbia, MO. That is where my 34 3 window standard still is (Glenwood Ave.) I tried to send you a PM but was denied access. I would love to take a look at your car to determine some things about how to finish the restoration my father-in-law began. I will be in town 2 or 3 times over the next few weeks. Please let me know if we could work out a 30 minute visit one of those times and take some pictures.

I am familiar with Howard's car. I gave him some parts for it and loaned him a Master Parts Catalog. I spoke with Steve around Christmas time last year. He said he didn't know what was going to be done with the car. I'm glad someone in the family is going to finish it. Let me know if I can help.

Mike,

Great! Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to know you are familiar with the car and know our family. I wish Howard had finished the car so he could have enjoyed it but am fortunate to be given the opportunity to complete his work. He was a master of all trades and the work he has done is first class so I will try to continue the restoration as he would have. Hopefully we can work out a time when I can visit you and take some detailed pictures of your 35. Any help in where to run wires, etc. will be appreciated.

By the way, we will be in Columbia on Sunday, November the 8th. Would you have 30 minutes in the early afternoon that I could visit. If that won't work we are passing through earlier on Thursday, Oct. 29, about mid-day.

Let me know if either would work for you.

I knew some Russell's in high school. Any chance you graduated from Hickman?
