Now that I have my membership number for VCCA what do I have to do to be able to look the pictures, read the classified etc.
Just got my membership number this week. I updated my profile but the system will not let me go further than the forums.
Thanks.

Can anyone give me an idea where to get the paint codes for a 6 cylinder, 1929 motor?

Welcome to Chat and welcome to the VCCA. ok We are glad you decided to join us. To gain access to Members Only areas, you can contact the site's webmaster, Bill Barker or Chipper via email or PM. They can verify your VCCA membership and open up the Members Only areas for you. Our membership database isn't sofisticated enough yet to do it automatically (but we're getting closer).

You can get the correct gray paint for your engine from The Filling Station.

Enjoy the VCCA, this site and your Chevy. Lotsa knowledgeable people here to answer your questions.

Welcome aboard. You now should be able to use the members areas on ChatII.

Yes, welcome aboard to langer. This is a fun place. And lots of helpful info from knowledgeable folks. Enjoy.

Are you near a "region" there in AZ? I'd suggest you join up with a local group (region) for direct fellowship, info, fun, etc.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Do I have to wait for the username and ID that will come in the next issue of G&D to log into the areas such as classifieds or am I missing something?

The password and user name are published in the G&D. That will change when the database, currently being developed, is finished. You will have a unique user "name" and password. It will be active as long as your membership dues are paid.

Thanks Chipper for modifying his permissions.

Erik, the login information is located on page 7 of the G&D.

Bill,
Thanks for your response. I am embarrassed to ask but this is all new to me and I am stuck. I went to the home page of VCCA and clicked on the G&D link but only got the cover pictures and did not see where to go from there. Is the magazine online or do I wait for my first issue of G&D magazine to be sent to my home in order to pick up the User and password id's?

Hope that is not a dumb question but.................

We've worked this out via a PM.

For anyone else reading this, the starting point is at
http://vcca.org/memberservices.htm

Then use the ID and PW that is printed in the G&D.

There are over 800 pages of previous G&D articles posted in the online database... available to all members 7x24.
