How can I make it easier to fill the gas tanks on my '77 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton? There is no restrictor plate in the filler neck for the nozzle to latch onto and the slope of the hose to the tank is very gentle so the fill nozzle clicks off immediately. Fuel drips out throughout the fill. I'm sure someone has resolved this. Please let me know how. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks all.
