OP Bud38 Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 188 Georgia, USA	From time to time I see a stainless steel 38 grill listed for sale. The grill on my 38 is chrome plated steel. Was the stainless version an option or was it common to a certain model that year?

In the later years Chevrolet made them from stamped stainless steel. The general detail and corners of the stainless grille were not quite as crisp as the steel.
