1928 Chevy. Just did a valvle job, clearances for the valves are correct, rebuilt starter, fire to the coil, and the plug. Turns over but won't start. Any ideas?

No need to double post, but again,

Carb has fuel?
Vacuum tank has fuel
Valve train timing correct?

sounds like fuel problem
use a spray of either see if she hits
