Just finsidhed a valve job on my 28. What should the valve clearances be at the rocker arm. Which is intake and which is exhaust? And do you set with the valve at its lowest point?

I think you are a good candidate for a Repair Manual and Owners Manual.

Both of these are available in reprint for a very reasonable fee.

From the front of the engine: E I I E E I I E

.008 for I, .010 for the E

Adjustment is with the valve closed.

Using rays valve arrangement When the front valve is fully open (lowest point) adjust the rear valve, turn the engine by hand until the next valve gets low adjust the valve in the mirrored position.
Alternatively adjust both valves for the cylinder that is due the get spark indicated by the rotor button position.

I would assume you are new to setting valves? When you use your feeler gauge, you don't want the screws to bite it. The feeler should be tight, but should be able to slide in and out. Make sure you feeler is clean of debris, along with the valve assembly of which you are going to be setting.
