A few months ago, I acquired the 1928 Truck (in several bushels) and started the long process of part ID. The help from this forum has been invaluable! I have identified most parts, but I believe I am missing some and can't recognize others. I came to the conclusion that I need to see and photograph a truck that is in functional order. Does anyone have or know of one near Detroit Michigan? I could also send digital images of the parts I do not recognize, but need also detailed pictures of some interior and engine compartment areas. :)

Thanks. I'll send pictures via the eMail on your website.
By the way, you have some beautiful vehicles! The 1926 truck is awesome!

KC Wood - Thanks. I identified most of the wood in the cab, except for 2 pieces and a sheet metal part. I'll post pics...if I figure out how crazy

I am in the process of restoring a 1928 truck also. I am making one out of two so might have parts that you need or want info about. Pete

My offer is still open to come and look at my 28 LO truck which is very original and unrestored and in very good barn condition. Nothing was butchered on it at all except for the oil filter bypassed. I am a half hour south of Terre Haute Indiana. If you come by, we can take a ride in the 23 Olds truck! I always look for excuses to drive it!

28 Chevy LO Capitol 1 ton, 28 National 2 dr coach, 71 Chevy Custom Camper 3/4 ton. Also 23 Oldsmobile Economy truck and a 24 Olds sport touring.

1929ps,
Thanks for the offer and answer to a 2006 post. I was able to locate a parts truck and in fall of 2008 finished the restoration. Only parts that I would like extras is rims, windshield hardware and a vacuum canister. Let me know if you have any "extras".
Thanks,
Paul
