Where is a source for a replacement grease gun part that fits the original pin type Alemite grease fittings? Part number?

There is also a web site called "Restorationstuff.com". If you open that up and down load their catalog they have two types of adapters. One screws onto your grease gun and the other fits onto the alimite fitting and then you use a regular grease gun. The items are on page 13 in the catalog and numbers Lub071 for $32, and Lub090 for $21. The cheaper one is the one that snaps onto the alimite fitting. Phone # 1-800-306-7008. Hope this will help. :vcca:

I the one that snaps on and it is a pain. It is too easy to get the zerk fitting off angle and then it leaks. I would much prefer to have the other one.

I agree Shawng, The one that has a Zerk and snaps onto a standard Zerk female connector is a pain to get off since there isn't any wiggle room and it has to be pulled straight off the Zerk. I have one from GW and it worked for about 5 or 6 Alemites then a phenolic washer popped out and it was APOJ. I bought a couple of old timey grease guns with Alemite connectors and one of them had 1/8" pipe threads that screwed into my Lincoln grease gun. I took all the Alemits off my 28 and replaced them with genuine Alemite Zerks. I would rather my 28 get greased than just look like an original with Alemites. I kept the old Alemites to use if I ever have the car in a Show.
