My 1932 sedan has cowl lights that are not connected. The wires are taped loose under the dash. What circuit are they part of? The parking lamps or the headlights? MANY THANKS

There is one circuit for the entire car!
The cowl lamps come on when you pull out the light switch to the first click. Headlamps are the 2nd or full click.

Anybody of the previous owners of my "african" chevy did mount the cowl lights on the front fenders and they work as a turn signal now (with yellow bulbs, because in germany the turn signals must be yellow). I did agree, that is the best possible solution to have a turn signal (vintage cars too MUST have it....german laws...), and I did add two white bulbs, connected with the parking light in the headlamps too, because this is necessary by german laws for cars which dont have their headlamps at the outer end of the car...
