What is the correct size for hood lace on a 28? And who is the best vendor for said lace?

Wally Deck or Gary Wallace can supply the correct lace.

Although mine is a 1927, I got mine from The Filling Station. I ordered the hood lace and the split rivets and after installing them I think that they are a perfect fit for the car. They look good and I had no problems installing the lace and rivets. I must add that I used a small leather punch to make the holes in the hood lace before I actually put the rivets thru the lace and into the rad shell and cowl.
