So my car is wired without an ignition switch (just a push switch) which should mean I have no way to turn the car off since the coil is wired hot straight from the battery. I want to put it back the way it should be. On a wiring diagram there is both a starter push switch and a starting motor switch. What are these referring to? The push switch is the one that should mount on the starter(which someone has wired to a different switch as the starter doesn't have a foot switch). So what is the starting motor switch?
