I have two different styles of brake cables for the front brakes on my 32-one has an indentation in the tapered end that fits into the camchaft lever housing-the other does not-which is the correct style ? I think it is the one with the notch allowing it to be retained in the housing with the hsg mounting bolt.The cable without the notch had a bolt with a tapered end so it would not interfere with the mounting bolt.The unnotched cables are in better condition so I am considering cutting a notch in them if thats the correct(or original) design.
