Just want to thank everyone in advance (i'm sure I'll have a lot of questions) for any future help and advise you'll be giving me. I recently sold my original 36 5-window Master Deluxe Business Coupe to a fine gentleman from Alaska (long way from where I live in Florida) and have had an itching to get something else. Well, Yesterday I arrived home from a 1200 mile journey (and thats just one way) with my "new" car. I now am the proud owner of a Colonial Cream/India Ivory 1957 Bel Air 2-door hard top Sport Coupe. With the exception of the 1966 Corvette 327ci motor, she's original. As I start driving her more, and need to make adjustments, I will probably be talking to more of you. I'm sure everyone in this forum will be as nice and helpful as those in the 36 group. Thanks

Hey Bob,

Congrats on the "new" car. 36's are great; but I'm sure you'll find the 57 a lot more drive-able. Especially if you have to use the Interstate from time to time to get where you're going.

Any chance we can see a few pix of your new '57....

Don't forget to get a few shop manuals along the way. Those were the colors of my first 57 Chevy

I'll post some pictures soon. Believe it or not, I was so tired when I got back home (did the trip in a little more then 48 hours) that I washed the car and put it in the garage, and forgot to take pictures. And Chevgene, It has the original power glide tranny. It was rebuilt and had a new torque converter installed.
