Somebody needs to jump on it for 9500.00 before a street rodder gets it. 38k to restore? Probably not much he could do himself...although, they're not cheap to redo even if you can do some of it. 9.5k? Sound like somebody needs some quick cash...maybe an operation or?
How about that original 33 chev mercury coupe. Unrestored. Anybody see that one? He's looking for 55k.....joe

Amazing how " All the wood was replaced" yet the metal had no rust . If the wood was in that bad shape, I would think that water got in , maybe through the roof.
John--Cowl lights were not standard on all models

Having just replaced all of the wood in my "31 Coach, I can attest to the fact that you can have extensive wood rot without having any serious rust issues.

As for the cowl lights and the crank hole cover, even you can remedy that with $125.00 USD John Gill wink

The 31 sedan delivery i got up in Manson Wa was sitting in an apple orchard since 1941 & the elements had taken a toll on the body & wood but surprisingly no rust out anywhere. Not even the pieces that were buried in the earth. Still had some paint left on it. I think lack of minerals in the soil & rain helped it to not rust. Can't say that about every place in this world. Tucson is no exception.
I can't believe someone hasn't bought that coupe yet....joe

That particular model did not have cowl lights, The parking lites are an additional lightbulb of lesser wattage set in the headlight lense.

Gator: Many car clubs base their judging on 100 points, not 1,000 points, so that is probably what he was talking about. wink laugh laugh laugh

Being a "rare" car should make it worth more....For $38,000 you would have thought they would have re-silvered the head light reflectors to eleminate that foggy eye look..wonder what else went undone?
