My horn wire is broke at the base of the steering column.I removed the horn button but I am not sure how to proceed,need advice.

It depends on what year you have. If 1927 or 1928 you will need to remove the Bakelite button with the contact in the center of the steering column. Take it easy as the four prongs that hold it in place can be bent or destroyed. The center wire runs from the contact down the center of the column and out to the horn. It is ground that completes the circuit to make the horn sound. Just rewired the one on my '28 Coupe.

Actually a repair/restoration manual has been discussed several times. A '29-'32 has been in the "works" for approx. 10 years but with only three people contributing and each of them busy doubt it will ever get done.
The best way to get one is like eating an elephant. With a tribe of people each taking a byte at a time, so it does not spoil before getting eaten. Anyone like to try?
