I am trying to determine if this CD would be worth having. It is on EBAY. We will be putting my 1924 back together and I need all the help I can get. Any comments?

Last time I looked the reprints from the Filling Station were $ 10 per manual. I find that CDs are good but hard copies are better. It is easier to thumb through the book than start up the computer, insert the CD and then search for the item or page you want. Since I also have a copy machine that can make enlargements I can make copies to be used in the shop. Of course you can print pages from the CD also.

I agree that the hardcopy is better. I like the original manuals in "as new condition" or licensed reprints that are printed rather than photocopied, when possiable. Some times the photocopies have many pages that are dim and the pictures are lower quality. I do have a couple of manuals that are on CDs often they are not too eady to go to the page that you want to see. Others are licensed by the manf. and are quite good. It is a crap shoot as to which quality disc that you buy.
Check out the sellers statement about "Your money back in ?? days" or "CDs are not returnable, once the package is opened" I don't like those that are not returnable......

Agreed, hard copies are better. I had to purchase a CD for my 2007 Rabbit and it is a royal pain. Even a laptop in the garage is not workable. I end up printing things and then wasting a tonne of paper.
