Information: I just purchased a set (2) of Emergency Brake Cables for my 1940 2 Dr. Sedan from Chev's of the 40's. Upon installation they were 3 1/2 inches to Long. Had to install a couple of side frame hooks to take up the slack in the cables and allow for future adjusting.

Just wanted to let all know........

Some of their items are not exact replacements for 1940 Chevies. For example, their 1940-1941 turn signal switch wiring harness metal cover on the steering column is significantly wrong for 1940.
