Could someone please verify that this is the correct VIN for a 1930 roadster. 21AD 48522. Thanks, Andy.

A VIN number wasn't used in 1930...it was called a Car Serial Number instead. Yes, 21AD 48522 would be a correct Car Serial Number for a 1930 Chevrolet.

The number they are refering to is a car serial number on a small metal tag nailed to the floor of the early cars. There are no numbers on the frame as F**D used. Some states will use either the car serial number for title purpose & some states use the engine number. I had a vehicle with a Washington state title that used the engine number. When I brought it to Arizona MVD choose to title it from the car serial number ....Joe
