I am searching for vehicle dollies that roll with ease. I am not interested in the cheep ones for $60 bucks that you have to pull a gut to get the car to move. A friend of mine has some NMW Roll-Master ones that are great, but I think that company is in the process of going out of business. Do any of you have a different brand that actually has berings not just on the swivel, but the wheels also. My buddys Roll- Master ones are so easy to move that you can move a car with one hand.

Wheel dollies are a must have!

I used front wheels from the hospital wheel chair dump? junk yard? With wheel & swivel bearings, can't say I can move the car with one hand though but I don't have those polished floors you Guy's seem to have also I have a slope to contend with in the yard.
Industrial catalogues list wheels of various loads & quality may be an idea to buy cheap dollies & add quality wheels. chevy

don't buy the el-cheapo dollys like i did (think they were 20 bucks a pair). put my full size chevy pickup on them the other day, hooked the chevy to the john deere and promptly destroyed all 4 of the dollys.chineese junk. ya get what ya pay for. mike

I have several bought from Harbor Freight. I use them to push a 31 Model * Victoria and a Coleman camper against the wall of the garage. Have also used to push a 31 Chevy agaist the wall of the garage. In all cases they sit stationary all winter on the dolly. I have a smooth concrete floor and do it by hand. I'm sure they would not hold up nor would I try to move on gravel. These cost $39.99 a pair.

The dollys from harbor frt that I have work fine.I would suggest upon getting them applying some oil or grease to the bearings and they will roll quite easily.just like the old cars a little maintenance will go a long way.

If you want the best ones available, I would suggest that you get GOJAKs. They are not cheap, but one person can move a vehicle by themselves and you can load a vehicle on them without having to first jack up the car. I think they are about $149.00 each. There website is http://www.gojak.com

We have 3 sets of them in the shop and would not be without them. They come in 5000 and 6000 pound versions.

Good luck,
Jim V.

This is pure hear-say, but I have it from a good source that the old mutt HAS CAUGHT several old cars and has dragged them home, a couple of them more than likely are used to transport a certain 2 legged dolly around the area!

I decided to go with the ones that Merrick Machinery makes. I am getting ones that have roller berrings in the axel and in the swivel. 3000 lb per dolly!! We ordered 14 sets of them (4 per set) and got a very good discount. They even have their own car museum.
