While reading a thread on another forum recently, I started wondering if anyone out there had squirreled away copies of the forms that Chevy dealers used to place their orders for new cars.
I sold Chevies back in the early '70s and did a lot of the ordering for the dealership where I worked. As I remember, at that time these were either 2 or 3 part 'carbonless' forms. While not specifically valuable to an owner, having copies would be a wonderful resource for getting an accurate picture of what was really available (i.e. Z86 Chrome widget, available only with deluxe interior).
Anyone have some of these or know of a source?

I have dealer order books with a Rev. date of 07-47. They consist of 2 pages with carbon. The books are 6 1/2" X 8". One of the books has the carbon copys of vehicles that was ordered in 1951 with owners name, accessories, trade in price and cost of vehicle. After 50+ years some of the pages are not very legible. I also have books that have never been used.

With many of the smaller Dealerships banging up here in the Northeast it might be a good time to go dumpster diving!
