I have a good straight grill for my 38(both halves). Has anyone had experience rechroming this type of grill? Appreciate any insight or recommendations

I had mine rechromed @ a shop in Dallas but wasn't really satisfied with the quality considering the price they charged. If I were to do it again I'd probably try one of the "name" shops such as Pauls Chrome. I tried three different smaller chrome shops during my restoration and wasn't happy with any of them. I still favor rechroming original parts over buying repops because of the poor quality of many repop parts. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. My grill is in good shape, I just need to search someone that will do a good job. I'll check out your suggestion.
